Originally built in 1887 as the third post office in Queensland, the iconic Sandgate Post Office has a new lease on life. Stylish and quintessentially Sandgate, it is a destination venue with an elegant gastro-pub restaurant, a vibrant main bar, a whiskey vault and sun-soaked alfresco dining.
Standing proud in Sandgate for 135 years, the heritage of the building has been embraced with a renovation that honours the role the Post Office has had in the community for over a century. Located on the corner of Bowser Parade and Rainbow Street across the road from the Sandgate rail station, it is once again set to be a landmark for the Sandgate community.

The Dining Room has a moody interior that overlooks the Moreton Bay figs of Sandgate’s Rainbow Street. Offering full table service with intimate booths and plush surrounds, it’s the perfect backdrop to meet, mingle and create memories.
