By now, you have probably heard that the Sandgate Post Office Hotel Bar & Grill is under new management, and that we’ve started making small improvements to the venue, our events, food and drink options. We have been ultra careful not to make significant changes that would change the experience you’ve come to love at the hotel, and we understand that many of our regular comes for the brilliant atmosphere the hotel brings.
So, this brings us to what great service means to us.
Our management team have worked in the hospitality industry for many years now, and we have enjoyed running our first venue (The Stuffed Badger in Herston) for almost two years now. In both places, we have been conscious to build an atmosphere that our customers can come and relax in, enjoying top-notch food and drink at affordable prices, for the whole family.
For us, great service means helping you get the most out of your time with us. Whether you are coming to celebrate a wedding, birthday or just for drinks after work, the same high level of customer service will be given to you. We train our team in how to pair wine and beers with dishes from our menu, so if you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to ask them.
We also encourage our team to build great relationships with regular customers, because it’s important to us to receive timely feedback, that helps us continuously improve our offering.
Food allergies and preferences
We always work closely with our customers to ensure that food allergies and preferences can be accommodated as best as possible. If you can give us a little heads up time-wise, that’s even better, because it means we can plan ahead to meet your needs.
Events and celebrations
We love celebrating with you. At the Sandgate Post Office Hotel we have the ability to host beautiful weddings in our historic building, as well as school graduations, corporate events, private birthday and engagement parties, among other things!
